Welcome to Exeter Quilters

A very warm welcome to the 2024-2025 year with Exeter Quilters.

The program will hopefully include something for everyone. Dates with details can be found on pages 9–11. Additions and any changes are sent out with the monthly notices. Look for more information on our website exeterquilters.co.uk and closed Facebook group (search for Exeter Quilters and ask to join).

The notices generally go out by email on the Sunday prior to the Wednesday evening meeting. If you don’t seem to be receiving them please check your spam folder. If they are not there contact me and we will check that your contact details are correct. If you know of anything of interest that should go in please send them to me by the previous Friday. Please read the notices as they include additions and changes to the programme plus outside events of interest.

We are beginning to prepare for our next exhibition in August 2025, with more information here.

The membership fee remains at £17 for the year and £8 for anyone joining after October. Evening meetings cost £2 for in-house events and £3 for visiting speakers and afternoons cost £2. You are very welcome to bring a guest.

We have vacancies for the programme organiser (either “full-time” or as a “job-share”) and for someone to share the “meet and greet” role with Lynne Foster, so if you would be interested in either, please let me know.

Chairman's Quilt, 2024

At our 2024 AGM a quillow, made by EQ was presented to Brenda Thomas as she retired after serving two years as chairman.
