2022 Events and Activities

		Christmas meeting, 14 December 2022 Below are photos taken at our Christmas meeting. We were delighted to present the 1st and 2nd raffle quilt prizes to Celia and Hazel and to be able to give £1600 each to Balloons and Hospiscare. Many thanks to Jean, Wendy and Gill for the delicious food and to everyone who brought along a show-and-tell.

		Villavin Farm Retreat: 11–14 November 2022 From Lynne Foster : ‘We had a wonderful time yet again. The food was delicious and plentiful, our accommodation was comfortable, warm and spotless, and Jo looked after us cheerfully as always. A big thank you to Barbara who organised it all and to my fellow quilters for their delightful company. Thank you ladies, I loved every minute and it was a privilege and pleasure to meet Ruth properly too".

		Exeter Quilters: 40th Birthday Party, 10 September 2022 Below are photos from our 40th birthday party. A very big thank you to Barbara and her family for making it such a lovely occasion. The hall looked beautiful when we arrived with quilts of Barbara’s and Mary Sutcliffe’s and photos and memories from previous events around the hall. Barbara told us of her quilting history together with that of Exeter quilters and following that we had a delicious afternoon tea and a toast to Exeter quilters. The bookmark challenge was won by Julie Drew with her striking flying geese/rainbow design. Trish Walker and Brenda Bonner came second and third respectively.
