Dr Ruth Sewell's gave us an illustrated talk about her quilt made from inherited vintage fabrics which may have come from the American Civil War.
AGM: 13 March 2024
At the AGM a quillow, made by EQ was presented to Brenda as she retired after serving two years as chairman.
The Horizons challenge set by Brenda had an amazing response. The winners were 1st Patricia Hann, 2nd Helen Moss and 3rd Penny Kurowski. We plan to hang all the little quilts plus any more made later at our exhibition in 2025.

French Evening: 10 January 2024
Some pictures from our very jolly French evening where we saw slides from the 2023 Alsace trip, had “French” refreshments and dressed up with a lot of stripy jumpers and garlic (fortunately all fake). Prizes for the best dressed were given to Catherine with striped jumper, beret and garlic, Lynne as an artist and Linda dressed entirely in modern French clothes.
