At our Christmas meeting we were delighted to be able to give our four charities a total of £5200. As usual the charities were nominated by members the group with voting to select the final choice. The money was raised by having a coffee morning and sales day at St. Stephens Church, a three-day exhibition at the Mint Methodist Church and the raffle of a group quilt. Our four charities this year were "Veterans with dogs", The “Little Something” charity at Jasmine House, “Devon Air Ambulance” and “Age UK, Exeter” for the Heavitree and Beacon Heath drop-in groups. We were also delighted to be able to present the first and second prizes in the raffle to Karen and Diane.
