Christmas meeting, 8 December 2021

For the first time since the pandemic began we were able to have a near normal meeting with a talk, challenges, show and tell and Christmas nibbles. It was also shown on Zoom so others could join us.

Quillow challenge

Penny challenged us to make a scrap quillow The winner was Patricia Hann and runner up Jane Syers.

Miniature challenge

Penny challenged us to make a miniature scrap quilt. The winner was Linda Pardoe and runner up Carol McFadzean.

Carol and Alison's challenges

Carol and Alison gave us a talk on the challenges they had made with their friend Bea during lockdown. Each week they would come up with a different idea - finish a UFU, use a foot on their sewing machine that they hadn’t used before, make a quilt including letters, cats, circles etc., make a Christmas wreath.
