Exeter Quilters mystery quilt: Blocks 1–4

Block 1

We would like you to make a block which contains squares and triangles. It might be a very traditional block such as Ohio Star or you might want to design your own. You may use any technique you want.

Block 2

Let’s celebrate spring by making a flower block. You can use any method you choose, pieced applique, hand printed or if all else fails a floral fabric.

Block 3

This week we would like you to make a block that includes circles. As before you can use any technique you wish, a pieced block such as mariner’s compass or Dresden plate, appliqué, printing etc.

Block 4

This week we would like you to make a house block. This can be any size or design from a simple traditional school house to a wonky house, your dream house, a castle or a beach hut. Since it’s Easter maybe even a rabbit hutch. Let your imagination run riot.
