Make a block with a tree: it could be foundation pieced, appliqué, or a traditional block. How about a tree with blossoms, or a fruit tree—or even an unseasonal Christmas tree? Or perhaps a small wood or forest of trees on one block? Or a row of trees for a border/internal sashing strip.

This week we would like you to make an 8 pointed star block. You might want to make a traditional block or maybe a wonky one (intended or otherwise) or if you really hate piecing, make an appliqué design.

This week’s challenge is a log cabin or pineapple block. As usual it can be any technique, size or design you want.

We’ve had flowers and trees and we felt it was time to have some fauna to go with them, so this week we would like you to make an animal, bird, butterfly or any wildlife that takes your fancy. As usual any size or technique you like.
